Put simply, we’re here to help you maximize your revenue online.

We founded Design and Disrupt in 2022 because we just couldn’t take it anymore. We couldn’t stand idly by watching talented entrepreneurs struggle with websites they were embarrassed to show off… struggle to market their businesses online in a way that matches the impact of their brand, when, um, they weren’t designers nor marketers.

But, we are.

And, so Design and Disrupt was born. Our mission is to help business owners make the biggest impact by improving their branding, online presence, and digital marketing. Even though we don’t have a huge team of digital marketing experts, our revenue-generating growth marketing services are still at the core of our company’s purpose.

Hello, I’m Laila Fe Balinggan, but you can call me Laila

Lover of life, lead designer and strategist, founder, based in Vaasa

Originally from the Philippines, my journey to digital marketing is sooooo far from the traditional path.

I started as an educator, and then in 2021, I moved to Finland to study for my master’s degree. During that time, I found a job as a web designer for a marketing agency based in Germany. I pursued it because deep down my heart wasn’t in teaching and I knew that I’ve always had a passion for web design.

However, I wasn’t planning to be an entrepreneur then; but when I left my job as a web designer, I realized I couldn’t get enough of it. So I started freelancing for various clients in Finland, and now here we are.

If there’s one thing I’d like you to know about me, that is my willingness to learn through hard work and self-discipline; and to constantly challenge the status quo because life is too short not to pursue what makes you happy.

I stumbled into digital marketing by accident, but I’m grateful I did.
