Digital Marketing Audit & Strategy for a Clinical Psychology Clinic
The Client
Compass Psychology is a clinic offering clinical psychology services and therapy to Finland’s international community. From April to June 2024, we worked with Compass Psychology to assess their digital marketing efforts, with the goal of enhancing their online visibility and engagement.

The Challenge
Compass Psychology faced challenges in standing out within Finland’s mental health sector and connecting with their target audience—expatriates and migrants. Despite providing highly specialized services, their digital presence wasn’t generating the engagement needed to grow their client base or establish them as the go-to clinic for international communities in Finland. Their marketing channels lacked cohesion, and they struggled to effectively communicate their expertise and support offerings online.

Our Solution
We began with a full audit of their digital marketing platforms, analyzing their social media channels, website, and engagement metrics.
Using Google Analytics and Google Search Console, we identified gaps in performance and areas for optimization.
From this audit, we built a custom digital marketing strategy aimed at amplifying their online presence, improving audience engagement, and positioning them as Finland’s leading psychology clinic for the international community.
What We Did
Research to Understand the Market
We researched Finland’s mental health market, specifically focusing on the international community, their needs, and competitors. Understanding what makes Compass Psychology stand out was critical in developing a strategy that would resonate with their target audience.
Full Audit of All Marketing Activities
We conducted a full review of all social media, digital, and non-digital marketing activities. We also integrated data analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager into their website to track and improve user behavior, traffic, and conversion rates.
Results of the Audit
Our findings revealed that while Compass Psychology offered valuable services, their content was not connecting with their target audience. There were gaps in their SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content strategy, and social media engagement which can be further improved.

We presented the audit results and strategy to the founders of Compass Psychology (Annabel Battersby and Hatty Francis-Ehnholm), outlining our proposed changes and growth plan. The strategy was aligned with their goal of becoming the premier international psychology clinic in Finland.
